Cross-Generational Mentoring: How Social and Informal Learning Can Create Win-Win Mentoring Opportunities

Businesses are abuzz about the multiple generations in the workplace. Mentoring is also a big buzz word. Leaders are struggling to bridge generational gaps and create more ways for different employees to share ideas and add value. In this webinar, examine ways to capitalize on these workplace trends. You can capture and share tacit organizational knowledge while helping engage employees across the different generations and organizational silos using today’s emerging social and informal learning methods. Walk away with actionable strategies for immediate implementation and new perspectives on old problems.

  • Analyze current resource limitations and discover the untapped potential of existing resources for employee engagement, development and knowledge management
  • Examine ways to leverage mentoring and social and informal learning to engage and develop multiple generations of employees in the current workplace reality
  • Develop implementation ideas and strategies for new ways to engage and develop employees in your workplace while creating lasting knowledge assets for organizational improvement
