Introduction to Trust Capital
The Ten Critical DNA Strands of Trust
Art Hobba
What is the power source that fuels Great organizations? Many would say it is profitability, growth, or capital. Money invested strategically is definitely a key element that sets great companies apart from their peers. The term "Cash is King" comes readily to mind.
However, much deeper than these tangible assets and even deeper than the intangible assets of brand, intellectual property, and human capital, is the core atmosphere upon which every enterprise, government and society "transacts," and that is Trust Capital.
Research has found that where trust breaks down there is massive organizational and productivity waste. When the atmosphere of trust is depleted, people spend more time covering their back than they do bringing their "A Game" to work.
But where can one person make a difference? We can build our own Personal Trust Capital by being professionals who get intentional about behaving in a trustworthy manner with colleagues, vendors, direct reports and supervisors. Art Hobba will lead us in a participative session that will identify the Ten Critical DNA Strands of Trust required to build trust at work.
