Employee surveys are widely used to gather employee perspectives on many issues and inevitably evoke different reactions from executes, front-line managers, employees and even Wall Street. This 1 hour presentation will provide a comprehensive overview of the employee survey process by discussing the history of employee survey approaches, the steps required to deploy a successful employee survey with business impact and the tools for driving improvement actions and business value with employee surveys.
About Irwin Jankovic
Irwin is the Strategic Program Manager, Human Resources Group at the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California responsible for working with senior management and the Board on strategic HR planning and developing an integrated talent management and high performance workplace strategy. Prior to joining Metropolitan, Irwin was Vice President for Organizational Effectiveness at Triad Financial Corporation and Director of Human Resources and Organizational Effectiveness at Boeing Commercial Aircraft where, .in addition to his leadership in quality management, customer service strategies and process improvement, he led the passenger and crew studies used to select a 21st Century interior for the Boeing 717 twinjet, led numerous customer and employee survey initiatives, and served as Senior Engineer Scientist in Human Factors Engineering group.
Irwin holds a Doctorate in Experimental Psychology from the State University of New York, Stony Brook, and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration—Marketing and in Psychology from San Francisco State University. He has been an invited speaker at industry and scientific conferences, has published numerous articles and appeared in the national media. Irwin served as an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Loyola Marymount University and as an Adjunct Professor at Claremont Graduate University.
