Special Division: South Bay Training Professionals Breakfast: RoundTable Discussion

Those of us involved in the world of training and adult education have become familiar with several "principles" we accept as gospel.  Among them:

• Adults need to know the reason for learning something ("What's In It For Me?")
  
• Adults' real-life experiences are a valuable resource to make learning meaningful
• Adults have a self-concept that they are self-directing human beings

We hold these guiding truths as self-evident.  What if they're not true?  What if they're dead wrong?  What if they are true, yet simply not enough?  

Our discussion will be inspired by a thought provoking blog post from The eLearning Coach.  The session will be facilitated by the South Bay SIG Team.
