Engaging in Functional Conflict
Too often we think of conflict as negative and to be avoided. However, there's more than one type of conflict. While dysfunctional conflict hurts relationships and damages the work environment, functional conflict leads to stronger relationships, broader perspectives and improved solutions.
This session will talk about the differences between functional and dysfunctional conflict, will provide best practices for engaging in functional conflict, and will ask you to reflect on your personal ideas and approaches to conflict.
