The Business of Learning and Development: Demonstrating Value to Senior Leadership
Training effectiveness is not always easy to measure. It is one thing to show how many people attended or that they liked the training, that is the what. Business leaders want to know the so what. Can you show the training was effective? What is the return on investment for “soft skills” training like communication, leadership, presentation skills and so on?
This session will provide specific examples for identifying what and how to measure the things that matter from a business perspective. Training is often one of the first things to get cut when budgets get tight. If leaders or clients don’t understand the value you are delivering then how can you advocate for the continuation of your work? How do YOU know the value you are delivering? Find out here!
Who Should Attend: Learning and development professionals, consultants, coaches, and anyone who oversees the training function and wants specific examples of how to tackle this often-difficult task in an effective and meaningful way
