The Importance of Mentorship

Despite living in an increasingly interconnected world, many professionals still struggle building solid connections that lead to opportunities for professional growth both within and outside of their organizations. "Everyone needs to have a Mentor or be a Mentor...it's the Mentor Chain," says Brian Frankel. The right mentor can help professionals achieve their current goals. Mentors give candid insight, feedback and relevant introductions while getting access to the mentor network.

This presentation helps talent development leaders understand why mentorship is important, how to make a good match, problems to expect and questions to ask. During the presentation, attendees will also receive a worksheet on how to build relationships that achieve career goals.

Key Takeaways:

  • Why is mentorship important?
  • How to make a good mentor-mentee match?
  • Common problems and questions.
