Join ATD-LA past president, Tom Henschel, for a networking hall of mirrors. You’ll hear some new ideas, then get to try them out right there. Learn some new skills. See what works for you. And meet some people! Pretty good, huh?

Your Presenter
Tom Henschel began his consulting career as a presentation skills trainer. He built his practice thanks to networking with the generous members of ATD-LA.
Beginning in 2005, Tom wrote columns for the ATD newsletter about commanding a room. In 2008, those columns morphed into a podcast called “The Look & Sound of Leadership” which has now acquired a world-wide audience. In each episode, Tom tells a story about coaching a client in his role as an executive coach. One skill he often talks about with his clients is networking. He’s excited to share some ideas with you and see what you think.

UPON ARRIVAL: Inform the Security Staff member that you are here for the ATD-LA Chapter Event.
Parking Suggestions
The nearest parking is the Grand Parking Structure, located at 3401 S. Grand Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90007, or you are welcome to find street parking.
Parking currently costs $2 per hour, up to 4 hours, plus a one-time $0.50 fee.
You can purchase a parking pass using the Pay-By-Plate Feature on the second floor. After parking, take the elevator or stairs down to the ground floor and exit the parking structure towards Grand Ave. The meeting room is located at 3434 S Grand Ave, directly across from the parking structure.
Metro
The closest Metro station is the Jefferson/USC light rail station, which is a quarter-mile/5 minute walk from the meeting location.
USC is also near the Expo Park/USC Metro station. It’s about a 15 minute walk to the meeting room, and requires walking under the 110 to the Carol Ann Little Building on the east side of the freeway, separate from the main campus.
