Self Management:  Training Morning Star to Thrive Independent of Hierarchy

A transformation in organizational philosophy is emerging in some forward thinking organizations:  Self-Management.  The underlying premise:  If people can direct their own lives independently (get married, raise children, obtain mortgages, etc.), they ought to be able to direct themselves in the workplace!

Sounds wonderful, right?  Well, as you can imagine, such a significant paradigm shift can lead to confusion, frustration, and the need for cultural change.

Join us as we discover "Self-Management", and how to overcome its challenges, together.  Hugh Leonard will bring copies of a short T+D Magazine article on the subject, which we will read together.  Hugh will then lead a RoundTable discussion on this emerging workplace philosophy.  We will use the GEMS RoundTable methodology to understand and discuss this powerful and engaging workplace transformation.

An email copy of the article we will read together will be provided when you RSVP.  Please bring it with you.  You do not have to read it beforehand.

The GEMS Text Study RoundTable format is provided by Sue Gabriele, President and Owner, Gabriele Educational Materials and Systems.
