About Our Presenter

Will Garrick is a Senior Director at OptumRX.  He has spent more than half his life in the training field.  He has a bachelor’s degree in Education and a master’s in Organizational Development.  Will spent some time teaching in the Public School System before moving to Rockwell / McDonnell Douglas / Boeing Company where he worked in training and development for some 20 years. Will was part of the founding team that established the Boeing Leadership Center ( a campus like setting with residential halls where participants stay for up to three weeks to learn and experience key leadership decision making classes through experiential learning activities).

Will then segued to the health care industry at Providence Healthcare Systems, Burbank California, where he earned his Six Sigma Black Belt certification (GE certification).

He has been with OptumRx (formerly known as Prescription Solutions) since 2004. His current role is Senior Director of OptumRx Learning Services.
