Your Presenter
Tabassum Siddiqui is a multifaceted professional with a 25-year career across various fields. Her journey includes roles as a community organizer, liberatory designer, policy and advocacy manager, and Department of Justice Accredited Immigration Law Representative. She is also a certified integrative health coach, trauma-conscious meditation and yoga guide, and fifth-generation community herbalist.
Currently, Tabassum serves as the Policy and Advocacy Manager at Tri-County Health Network, where she leads a bilingual multicultural advocacy team. She is also the co-founder and co-organizer of Raíces Sin Fronteras (Roots Without Borders), a Latino and Indigenous-led community group focused on grassroots movements in Colorado's Rocky Mountains. Her work has been particularly impactful in advancing workers' rights, language justice, holistic healing, mental wellness for communities of color, and pro bono immigration legal services. Her efforts have secured significant funding and competitive grants to sustain and expand these initiatives.
As the founder of Ultravivre and co-founder of HAJRA, Tabassum has led numerous healing circles, meditation, and wellness programs. Her approach emphasizes resilience, belonging, and holistic empowerment, drawing from her Islamic Sufi, Africana, and Indigenous lineage. Earlier in her career, she pioneered a modest ethical fashion design movement. Her creative leadership transformed a small international fashion brand start-up into a multimillion-dollar brand recognized by Forbes and Islamica.
Tabassum's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, Davis, and certifications from the Instituto Europeo de Yoga and the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. Her diverse skill set and commitment to community empowerment continue to drive her advocacy, wellness, and social transformation work.
