Presented by Carey Fried, Director of Professional Development at CallSource
Current findings in neuroscience support the connection between Emotional Intelligence (EI), mindfulness and career success. These days there is so much awareness and discussion about EI and mindfulness. It’s no longer a question whether EI matters, it’s how it matters, and what L&D professionals can do to develop it.
Carey will share mindfulness practice techniques that are so powerful, as soon as attendees experience them, the light goes on immediately and the applications are endless. For L&D professionals who want to make their training more impactful, mindfulness is a dynamic foundation that can support profound learning and organizational development efforts.
During this chapter meeting we will explore the link between Emotional Intelligence, mindfulness and performance success. We will
- Define mindfulness
- Discuss the recent neuroscience of mindfulness and its physical and emotional benefits
- Link mindfulness to increased EI
- Understand EI in a corporate context
You will leave the chapter meeting relaxed, mindful and optimistic about what you can offer, with resources and a collection of simple, proven mindfulness practices that you can use to increase EI.
