Earning the Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) designation expands your capability, demonstrates your credibility as a practicing professional, and builds the confidence necessary to be a high performing contributor in your organization.
Closely aligned with the ASTD Competency Model, the CPLP® Certification process assesses knowledge and skills across ten Areas of Expertise (AOEs). A rigorous certification process helps to ensure that certain levels of expertise have been attained.
The ASTD Certification Institute built the CPLP credential to provide a way for workplace learning and performance professionals to prove their value to employers and to be confident about their knowledge of the field. A CPLP® Certification can help you:
- Improve opportunities for career advancement and increased earnings
- Differentiate yourself in a competitive job market
- Increase and validate your skills and knowledge
- Enhance your professional reputation
- Achieve personal accomplishment
During this session, we will cover:
- Why would you even consider taking the time and effort to earn the CPLP
- The history or basis for the credential
- The qualifying process
- How to actually earn the CPLP
"The value of CPLP is what it says about the credential holder. It says, I know how to help organizations get results!"
