Are your projects on life-support? Are you overwhelmed and frustrated managing multiple projects, limited resources, constantly changing requirements, nit-picky subject matter experts, and shifting business sponsors? If your answer is yes then you need tools and resources to help resuscitate your projects.

Project management is an integral part of talent development (TD) regardless of your job title or role. Having a paramedic kit of project tools can help you and your teams collaborate and communicate, manage budgets, schedules, tasks, milestones, and deliverables to revive and keep your projects alive.

In this half-day workshop Coline will cover six essentials of project management and demonstrate tools and resources ranging from complex to simple, low- to no-cost, cloud-based and mobile-optimized applications, to Word and Excel templates for team-based and individual project work.

This workshop is ideal for TD professionals seeking tools to help revitalize and pump life back into their projects. No extensive background or knowledge of project management methodologies is needed; however, some experience with managing projects will be helpful.

  • Explore a variety of tools from basic to complex that can be used to manage six essential elements of your projects.
  • Determine which tools are relevant and appropriate to your specific project needs and challenges.
  • Practice using tools that help establish the value of training programs, contain project costs and schedules, control requirements, manage subject matter experts, and get final project sign-off.
  • Apply tools to help overcome your project challenges.
